A

Order will be used now. Used for referrals, immunizations to be administered or labs to be collected during this visit in the exam room, rather than collected in the lab.

What is standing order?

A

order multiples of the same test. You will need to indicate a number in the count field. The expiration defaults to 1 year and release defaults to manual

What is Future order?

A

any time after this encounter, which could be later today or in several weeks. When future is chosen, you will need to indicate the dates that the test is expected and when it should expire. Future status is used for tests that will be collected and performed at the lab after this visit or for radiology orders

A

If the result of a future test is not finalized by the expiration date, the provider or nurse pool will receive an In Basket message to indicate that the order was not carried out and has expired.

A

Go to the bubble with all the orders and click the star. The preference list composter pops up so you can name the order

Where can you find your favorited orders?

A

Click the preference list icon on the visit taskbar. Click the favorites check box. Here, the system saves a list of my favorites. Point out the My Favorites check box. I can select My Favorites to see a list of only orders that I have saved as favorites. The system will save them with the details that we set up, so I know exactly what details are in the order each time I select a favorite.

A

Vistor orders-amb. Click print label/collect. Find your label printer and then print labels. You can then add all information about the collection in the boxes

A

Put in new order and if it triggers a using existing specimen yellow highlighted banner on the order tab, the click on it and click that tab that says use existing specimen

Click the clipboard and use the X. Give a reason of why you cancelled the order
