• Seeing how my loved ones struggled with diseases and difficulties was very difficult, but the positive effect I saw doctors having was remarkable; whether that was merely giving them someone to talk to and express their concerns with, or presenting all their options clearly and with transparency.
• I saw how important a doctor’s demeanour is, and how when my loved ones returned after their appointments with a doctor who they felt genuinely cared about them, they were significantly more optimistic about their condition.
• Dementia, mental health etc
• Combine this with my interest in science.
