Flexion of the head, trunk and arms followed by extension of the arms

Myoclonic jerking, referred to as ‘jack knife’ spasms that occur in clusters
How long do the seizures last in someone with West syndrome?
Only 1-2 seconds but may be repeated up to 50 times
