What are DDI for vitamins and minerals
avoid mineral oil, cholestyramine, or colestipol because fat soluble vitamins may not be absorbed
K and K sparing diuretics may increase K levels
Mg and Ca decreases absorption of antibiotics and iron (seperate by a couple hours)

- wound healing
S/s of hypervitaminosis A
mouth ulcers, cracked fingernails, bone pain, loss of appetite, blurred vision

rickets, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, tetany

fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, excessive thirst, excess urination, dehydrate, constipate, irritability, nervousness

pernicious anemia
