- wavy/blurry areas (lines), contrast, blank spot in vision
- metamorphoria: spinning/swirling
- Charles bonnet syndrome: visual hallucinations
Diabetic retinopathy
Central & peripheral loss
- floaters, blur/haze vision, dark areas, color discrim, contrast, blind spot/scotoma
Cataracts
Central vision due to cloudy lens
- acuity for near distance, glare, faded colors, blur/haze, night vision, contrast
