Q

How are enzymes used in biological detergents?

A

Mainly protein-digesting (protease) and fat-digesting (lipase) enzymes so they break down animal and plant matter, also effective at working at low temperatures

Q

How are enzymes used in slimming foods?

A

Amylase is used to turn starch sugar into sugar syrup and the glucose syrup can be changed into fructose syrup using isomerase, fructose is sweeter so you need less of it
