A beautiful, moral and wealthy utopian civilazation became greedy and ‘morally bankrupt’ so the Gods got mad and destroyed the city. It suddenly disappeared to the bottom of the ocean never to be found.

The Minoans that lived in Konossos, Crete were destroyed by natural disasters.
The sudden eruption of Thera (biggest volcanic eruption in history) caused the city to start to cave in
