Glenoid cavity
groove (a type of fossa), divot for the head of the humerus
Humerus
upper bone of arm
Deltoid tuberosity
raise bump on upper part of humerus (allows connection between muscle and bone)
Head/neck
top of humerus, fits into the glenoid cavity (neck is below the head)
Trochlea process
medial portion of the articular surface of the distal humerus
Olecranon fossa
notch on humerus, fits with the olecranon process on the ulna
Capitulum
condyle at the end of the humerus that articulates with the head of the radius
Lower arm
Radius & Ulna
Head = circle, allows for arm to spin
Radius
Olecranon process
on the ulna, the “bump” that you can feel through the skin
