A

Forced to sign Duma (parliament) which had no power, Tsar dismissed them if they disagreed with him.

He carried out everything alone without even a secretary = weak tsar and he failed to act in crisis of 1917

A

From social revolutionaries (wanted a peasant revolution), communists, who were divided into moderate menshviks and extrmist bolshvicks

After 1900 many assassinations + protests occured (bloody sunday, murder of prime minister stolypin 1911)
