TOPIC 32 Flashcards
Structures to mention in general
- Dorsal part of penis
Craniodorsal -> Caudo ventral Urether Urinary bladder Deferent duct Ampulla of the deferen duct Body of prostate Urethra with urethral muscle Ishiocavernosus muscle Bulbocavernosus muscle Retractor muscle of penis
Structures to mention on the testis
Ductus deferens
A.ductus deferentes
Cauda epididymis
Lig.testis proprium
Corpus epididydimis
Bursa testicularis
Testiculary A + V - Abd.aorta + Cadal Vena cava
Mesorchium
Plexus pampiniformis
Caput epidididymis
Layers of the scrotum
○Cutis scrotis (Cant dissect)
○Tunica dartos (cant dissect)
●Fascia spermatica externa-Deep to tunica dartos
adherrent with tail of epididymis -> lig.scroti
●M.cremaster - derive from int.abd.oblique m.
•covered by fascia cremasterica
•attached to the lateral or dorsal surf. of the fingerlike process formed by tunica vaginalis
•Cremaster reflex - raises tunica vag. and brings testis abd epididymis closer to the ext.ing. ring.
•Follow dorsally to the the origin of int.obliquue.
•Wont see the muscle / covers testis
○Internal spermatic fascia (Cant see)
•Fused with the underlaying tunuca vaginalis
●Tunica vaginalis
An evagination of parietal peritoneum, passing through ing.canal into the scrotum.
- Distal part: Testis and epididymis
- Proximal part: Spermatic chord
Covered with tunica vaginalis visceralis, completely fill the tunica vaginalis parietalis
● Plica ductus deferentis
● Plica vasculosa
● Plica mesorchium
Testis
Extremitas capitata
Extremitas caudata
Margi epididymis
Margo liber
Tunica albuginea - Tough, fibrous capsule of the testis. Contains superf branches of testicular a+v
Transect testis to show septs emptyes into mediastinum of testis.
Ligaments to testis
Ligamantum cauda epididymis - tail to scrotum
Lig. testis proprium - Testis - tail
Lig.scroti - Cant dissect
A.testicularis
V. testicularis
A: From abd. aorta -Runs with funiculus spermatuvus - enter head of epidydimis - Gives of rr.epididymis V: From caudal vena cava - Runs with a.testicularis, lympatics, nerves - Forms plexus pampiriformis
Funiculus spermaticus
Consist of: A+V testicularia Lympathics Testicular plexus of nerves Smooth muscles Ductus deferens - Enclosed in plica serosa- mesoductus deferens
A.testicularis
A.testicularis - From.abd aorta
- Runs ventrally over the inner lumbar muscles, passes along the lateral abd. wall - (Covered by visceral vaginal tunic. wich is continious with parietal tunic). To the internal inguinal ring, and as a part of spermatic chord it reaches the head of epididymis
- Gives if rr. epididymales
V.testicularis
From left: From v.cava caudalis
Right testiular vein enters renal vein
Bloodsuply scrotum
From A.pudenda externa - R.scrotalis + A.cremasterica to m.cremaster - ventral
Bloodsuply testis
A.abdominalis - A.testicularis
V.testicularis - breaks up and forms a rich plexus.
Blood supply epididymis
A.testicularis and rr.epididymalis
