TOPIC 26 Flashcards
1
Q
Dissection, what to do first?
A
- Divide thorax into sections, both on left and right side
- Talk about the lungs (lobes)
- Talk about the pericardium
- Talk about the topography of the thorax
Spaces (resesses/cupula)
●Precardiac
●Cardiac
●Postcardiac
2
Q
Dissection of mediastinum
A
Lift the phrenic nerve, make a small incision
= You will be inside/between heart&Mediastinum
Ligament attached to pericardium:
- Lig.phrenicopericardium
3
Q
The heart topography
A
Layers:
- Endocardium
- Myocardium
- Epicardium
- Pericardium has 2 layers:
Pericardium fibrosum - Thougher outer layer
Pericardium serosum - The inner layer - The parietal lamina is adherred to the pericardium fibrosum, while the viceral lamina is adherred to the heart - Also called epicardium
- Between those to laminas = Pericardial Fluid
4
Q
Topography of thorax - Spaces
A
- Cupula pleura
- Recessus costomediastinales
- Recessus costodiaphragmaticus
- Recessus lumbodiaphrahmaticus
- Recessus mediastini
- Recessus mediastinodiaphragmatica sinister
- Cavum mediastini serosum
5
Q
Lungs
A
Loceted in the plaural sac, which comes together medially to form the mediastinum
Left cranial lobe - pars Cran/caud Left Caudal Right cranial Medial lobe Right caudal Accessory lobe
