You find the nerves by opening abdominal wall, and scraching dorsally under the peritoneu. by the spine, where they emerge frkm the intervertebral foramen

O: Thoracolumbar fascia + lateral aspect of rib(3-4)
I: Fibers run caudoventrally to linea alba \\ lig.inguinale

O: Thoracolumbar facia + tuber coxae + Proximal part of lig.inguinale
