2) Lower Respiratory System
 larynx, trachea, bronchial tree, lungs

lined with mucosa (with one exception)
o all have epithelial tissue + CT
o epithelial tissue for most = ciliated pseudostratified columnar epi. (with goblet cells)
 cilia sweep mucous to esophagus where swallowed
o connective tissue layer of ALL mucosa = lamina propria
