Q
Thymus vs. Thyroid def?
A
The thyroid gland is located in the neck, near
the adam’s apple. It produces hormones that
regulate other glands, and it also regulates how
fast your body burns energy (your metabolic rate).
The thymus is located in the upper chest behind your breastbone. It is part of your immune system, and is the place where T-lymphocytes
mature so they can be used to fight off disease
germs.
