1 1/4 ounces gin
1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce passion fruit syrup*
1/4 ounce falernum
1/4 ounce orgeat
Add the gin, lemon juice, passion fruit syrup, falernum and orgeat to a blender with crushed ice, and blend until smooth.
Pour unstrained into a Tiki mug or highball glass.
Garnish with an edible flower and an orange twist.
*Passion fruit syrup: Mix 6 parts simple syrup to 1 part passion fruit puree.
Imbibe
1½ OZ. GIN
½ OZ. FRESH LEMON JUICE
¼ OZ. PASSION FRUIT PURÉE
½ OZ. ORGEAT
¼ OZ. VELVET FALERNUM
GARNISH:
LIME TWIST WRAPPED AROUND A CHERRY
Preparation
Blend all the ingredients together with 1 cup of crushed ice until smooth. Pour the contents into a rocks glass filled with 4 oz. of fresh crushed ice. Garnish.
Punch
1 1/2 ounces gin, preferably Jensen’s
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce orgeat, preferably Latitude 29
1/4 ounce passion fruit purée
1/4 ounce Velvet Falernum
8 ounces crushed ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender with eight ounces of crushed ice.
Flash blend and pour into a rocks glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a lime twist wrapped around a cherry, secured with toothpick.
Martinican Punch Planteur
Tiki
2 oz rhum agricole
1/4 overproof demerara rum like Hamilton 151 Overproof Demerara Rum
3/4 oz falernum
3/4 oz lime
1/2 oz guava juice
1/4 oz grenadine
6 drops Bittermens ‘Elemakule Tiki Bitters
Shake. Strain. Collins. Crushed ice. Nutmeg. Strip of orange zest.
