The name
Bar Marilou takes its name from 70s French salon and bar culture, a nod to Quixotic’s Parisian roots, and mixes rebellion and romance with nonchalance. A shortened version of the proper Marie-Louise, the name evokes irreverent, casual ease, like calling an old friend by nickname.
