SYNTHETIC CONVENTIONAL STAGE & INDIVIDUATIVE-REFLECTIVE STAGE
In this stage of Faith Development for Adolescence, usually from ages 12 and up practice conformity to authority and the religious development of a personal identity.
SYNTHETIC CONVENTIONAL STAGE
In this stage of Faith Development for Adolescence, any conflicts with one’s beliefs are ignored at this stage due to the fear of threat from inconsistencies.
SYNTHETIC CONVENTIONAL STAGE
In this stage of Faith Development for Adolescence, usually from age 12 and up is the stage of angst and struggle.
INDIVIDUATIVE-REFLECTIVE STAGE
In this stage of Faith Development for Adolescence, as one is able to reflect on one’s own beliefs, there is an openness to a new complexity of faith, but this also increases the awareness of conflicts in one’s belief.
INDIVIDUATIVE-REFLECTIVE STAGE
In this stage of Faith Development for Adolescence, the individual takes personal responsibility for his or her beliefs and feelings.
