Between the years 1536 and 1541.
How did Henry dissolve the monasteries?
He started with the smaller ones, where the annual income was less than £200 and after 1539 he started to dissolve the larger ones.
What did Henry VIII do with the lands he got from the dissolution of the monasteries?
He sold them to the gentry and this made him money as well as gaining more support for his new religion as people aren’t going to go against the new religion if they’ve bought old monastery lands.
What did Henry VIII do with the additional income he got off the Reformation?
He went on a third French campaign.
