A

Because France were the natural enemy of England. However England never became allies with Spain so this was an opportunity missed.

A

A

Because he washed up on the English coastline and because of this Henry negotiated an unfair peace treaty with Burgundy called the Malus Intercurses.

A

In February 1489 Henry agreed to send 6000 troops to help stop the annexation of Brittany and in return Anne pledged to pay for the troops and also pledged not to marry anyone without Henrys permission.

In March 1489 Henry and Spain agreed to go to war against France.

A

Henry went to war at the end of the campaigning season and because of this only 12 men were killed meaning it wasn’t really a battle however it did earn Henry the Treaty of Etaples.

A

England removed its troops from French lands.
Henry got the French pension which meant Franc e had to pay England money so they wouldn’t invade.
France was now closed to Yorkists.
