The process of effective communication Flashcards
Understand the different process of effective communication
transmitter/sender of the message
this is the person starting of the process by sending the message
the medium of communication
is the method used to send a message for example a letter
receiver
the person who receives the message
feedback
is the reply from the receiver which shows weather the message has arrived, been understood and acted upon
one way communication
involves a message which does not call for a response. An example would be an instruction like take these goods to the customer
two-way communication
this is when the receiver gives a response to the message and there is a discussion about it
advantages of two-way communication
both people are now involved in the communication process. The receiver feel part of the process and is able to contribute to the topic being discussed.
benefits two way
- )it should become absolutely clear to the sender weather or not the person receiving the message has understood it and acted upon it
- ) the receiver feels more apart of the the process because both people are now involved in the communication process
