Summary:

A

There is a feast at alcinous’ palace followed by songs by demodocus(the blind bard) the bard sings about Odysseus at Troy,ironically, and Odysseus begins to cry.

There are physical competitions which Odysseus is goaded into And he excels at discus.

Demodocus sings about Ares and Aphrodite, Odysseus is given gifts - demodocus is asked to sing again and Odysseus cries again. Alcinous then asks Odysseus about his travels.
