Summary:
A
Telemachus reaches eumaeus’ hut and sees the swine herd talking to someone (Odysseus in disguise) and eumaeus suggests the stranger stay wth telemachus but telemachus is scared what the suitors will do. Eumaeus goes to the palace to speak to Penelope and Athena appears to Odysseus and takes away his disguise. Telemachus recognises him and Odysseus tells his story then plots how to get rid of the suitors.
The suitors find out telemachus is back and plan to ambush and kill him but amphibious says to wait for a sign. Medon overhears and tells Penelope who stops their plan and eurymachus calms her down.
