Summary:

A

Iros, a beggar, challenged Odysseus to a fight and antinous eggs them on. Odysseus removes his shirt and iros wants to back out but antinous threatens to have him beaten and castrated. Odysseus is merciful and strikes iros once in the jaw, breaking it. Everyone is entertained by the iChat and cheers it on.

Amphinomos gets advice from the beggar who tells him to leave before Odysseus returns. Athena wants everyone dead and Penelope scolds telemachus for the way they treated the beggar and seduces the suitors unintentionally. They compliment her and she complains they haven’t courted her right by giving her gifts so they try and find a suitable gift frantically which Odysseus finds hilarious.

Odysseus tests the loyalty of her maids they normally set the torches but he tells them he will do it. Odysseus challenges the suitors and eurymachos throws a footstool at him but it hits a wine steward instead. Amohinomos restores the peace and tells them all to drink instead.
