Odysseus shoots antinous in the throat with an arrow as he’s drinking wine. The suitors scatter upon realising their weapons are gone and eurymachos begs for Odysseus to have mercy on the rest of the suitors. Eurymachos tries to get the other suitors to join together and kill Odysseus but he shoots eurymachus in the heart. Amphinomos goes to attack Odysseus but telemachus kills him with a spear to the heart. The suitors get weapons thanks to melanthios.

Athena appears as mentor and Odysseus recognises her asking for help, she tells Odysseus and Telemachus to prove themselves. Odysseus kills everyone a part from phemios and medon because telemachus swears they’re loyal. They hang the 12 disloyal maids and torture and kill melanthios.
