-appoint one executor to ensure that any requests or wishes stated on the will be carried out. a minimum of two executors are normally recommended
-list beneficiaries, e.g. a spouse, children and relatives. include their names, adresses and contact details
-validate the will by getting it drawn up in writing and sighnerf by the testator in the present of two witnesses and signed by two witnesses
-store in a safe place, e.g. a safety deposit box in a bank. the executor should be made aware of this location.
