Q

How does the eye form images ?

A

Cornea - lens system refracts light ,
The image is inverted and reduced in size and focused onto the retinal surface
The photoreceptors on the retina are stimulated by the light produced by the cornea lens system ,
They produce electrical signals that are transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve .
