What do the testes produce and what are the effects of what it produces?
The testes produce testosterone. Testosterone grows muscles, making the balls and penis drop and grow larger. It also increases the rate of hair growth.
What do the ovaries produce and what are the effects of what it produces?
The ovaries produce oestrogen. Oestrogen is responsible for the maturation of eggs and the menstrual cycle.
What does the pancreas produce and what are the effects of what it produces?
The pancreas produces insulin.Insulin is important for regulating blood glucose levels.
What do the adrenal glands produce and what are the effects of what it produces?
The adrenal glands produce adrenaline. Adrenaline is important for our fight or flight response.
What does the thyroid produce and what are the effects of what it produces?
The thyroid produces thyroxine. Thyroxine is important in regulating our metabolism.
What does the pituitary gland produce and what are the effects of what it produces?
The pituitary gland produces FSH(Follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH(Luteinizing hormone).
