What is Homeostasis?
Homeostasis is the maintenance of a constant internal environment.
What do you need to control to make sure your body is functioning properly?
blood glucose levels, water levels and temperature
What does the brain do in homeostasis?
The brain is the control centre in homeostasis.
What does the CNS do in homeostasis?
The CNS sends signals to different organs, controlling how much of a thing they produce.
What does the pancreas do?
Control the levels of insulin produced.
What do the effectors/muscles do?
The effectors and muscles are responsible for movement( things like shivering) as a response to a signal sent
What do the glands do?
The glands are responsible for the production of hormones.
