Ancestor worship. Family was the focus of everyday life. Used oracle bones to talk to ancestors about future. Polytheistic. Created tombs like the Egyptians had.
Trade and commerce
Created own money, used coins with holes in the center.
Most were farmers who traded crops for things they needed.
Merchants and craftsmen were like slaves because they did not produce crops that people needed.
