- Predict e.g. prolonged exercise ?aware of symptoms, have fast acting sugar e.g. lemonade, jelly bean IM GLUCAGON, medic alert

Monitor - BSLs, HBA1c
Screening - other autoimmune (coeliac, thyroid), over 12 nephropathy (Alb/Cr ratio +HTN), retinopathy (opthal) and neuropathy (examine, carpal tunnel, postural hypotension), lipid disorders. Limited joint mobility, psychological support

Complications of treatment: lipohypertrophy, hypoglycaemia
