Dysmorphism Impression of intellect Height, weight, HC Upper and lower segment Mid parental height Arm span
Manoeuvres:
- Palms together with arms straight, legs together ?pes planus, asymmetry, hemihypertrophy
- Bend forward scoliosis
- Hypermobility
- Finger around wrist for arachnodactyly
Head, eyes Mouth, tongue Ears - pits Skin - cafe au lait Cardiac/chest wall Abdomen - hepatomegaly, hernis Ask about Tanner staging
Investigations:
- Karyotype
- TFT
- IGF-1
- Bone age
- DNA FBN1 mutation
- Plasma homocysteine
- DNA for storage if suspected overgrowth syndrome
