Anti-centromere antibodies - limited cuteneous
anti-Scl-70 - diffuse cutaneous - more severe disease
nailfold capillaroscopy
measure health of peripheral capillaries
abnormal capillaries, avascular areas + micro-haemorrhages indicate systemic sclerosis
Mx - non medical
stop smoking skin stretching to maintain ROM emolients physiotherapy OT
Mx - medical
nifidepine - Raynayds PPI and metoclopramide analgesia antibx ACEI
