- Bind to intracellular inhibitor
- Inhibit Phospholipase A2 & COX -> Stop arachidonic acid & PG synthesis [mimics endogenous cortisol]

- Suppression of inflammatory and allergic disorders (IBD, asthma, RA)

- Infections/immunosupression; decrease WBC due to decrease cytokines
- Cushings/osteoporosis
- Addison’s (if stopped - supression HPA)
