  • Ascites

  • Inhibits intracellular aldosterone receptor -> Inhibit Na/Cl reabsorption & K+ secretion

SE

A

Common: Hyperkalaemia (less commonly hyponatraemia and hyperuricaemia)

Important: Gynaecomastia/hypogonadism, impotence in males, menstrual irregularities
