Q

What is the process of mitosis

A
  • Chromosomes replicating to become thicker visible pairs of chromatids
  • The chromosomes then line up along the equator and their chromatids are pulled apart by spindle fibres to opposite poles
  • Two new nucleus form
  • After mitosis the cell cytoplasm becomes pinched off and two genetically identical daughter cells are formed
