Knowing exactly what the goal is , “i want to get fitter” is too generic it should be “ i want to run 100m further in the cooper run”
Measurable
Easy to know when the goal has been achieved
Achievable
Goal must be attainable, not too ambitious ( 10s improvement is more attainable that 60s improvement, in a sprint)
Realistic
Must be achievable in practice with no reasons that will hinder the completion of the goal
Time-bound
The goal must have an end point ( 6 weeks? 2 months?)
