What is a Soft tissue injury
Where two are more bones meet this is caused by movement out of there normal range.

Damaged ligament most common in sport twisted or overstretched.They occur when stretching too far past the normal range.

A strain is a twist,tear overstretched muscle or tendon
What is a torn cartilage
Firm elastic substance it absorbs the impact on the bones due to wear and tear from long term overuse.
What is a fracture.
A fracture is a broken or a cracked bone.There are serveral types of fractures.Through some form of contact or overuse.
What is a dislocation
A dislocation is when a bone at a joint is forced out of it’s normal position.As a result of a hard blow which causes the bone to be displaced.

This is graces,cuts caused by a tackle football,rugby,hockey.Caused by friction against a rough surface.

An impact to the head causes unconsciousness or memeory loss.Normally blow to the head can happen in many sports.
What are the 5 ways to prevent injuries.
1.Correct principles of training not overtraining and overuse injuries.
2.Playing by the rules.Needs to be fair competition for players safety aswell.
3.protective equipment/clothing depending on the sport and position.
4.Checking equipment and facilities check for saftey and secure pitches.
5.warm up/cool down perform light aerobic activity to increase blood flow.Cool down gradually reduce the level of activity.
