A
  1. Sound a long whistle
  2. Contact the Signaller/Area Controller/Train Controller using:
    - DTRS
    - Work Mobile Phone
    - Signal Post Telephone
    - Physically at Signal Box
  3. Provide them with:
    - Train Number
    - Signal Post Number
    - Position of Train
  4. Signaller will provide driver with:
    - Reason for Delay
    - Duration of Delay
    - Blocking Facilities if applicable
    (Contact Train Controller if you can’t reach Signaller)
  5. PA Announcement
  6. Train Controller must be informed if Driver isn’t satisfied with reason for delay
