A
- SIDS - following a complete and thorough medical history and examination, circumstances of death examination and coronial inspection, remains unexplained

What are some common features of infants with SIDS? What is the known preventable risk factor?
A
- Common features:
- Occur more often during sleep
- More in males, winter, higher latitudes
- Rare in first few weeks of life
- Recent URTI associated
- More common in lower SES households, but not restricted to these
- Sleeping a baby on its back reduces the risk of SIDS
