What does SHARP stand for and what is SHARP’s mission?.

Answer 1

Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention. To
promote an Army culture and command climate that ensures
adherence to the Army Values and ensure that every army team
member will be treated with dignity and respect at all times and
in all circumstances. (Essentially, to create a safe environment
that minimizes sexual harassment/assault)

Define sexual assault?

Answer 2

A crime defined as intentional sexual contact, characterized by
the use of force, physical threat or abuse of authority or when
the victim does not or cannot consent.

Question 3

Explain Restricted Reporting and Unrestricted Reporting.

Answer 3

Restricted: Allows victims to confidentially disclose the details
of his/her assault to specified individuals and receive medical
treatment and counseling WITHOUT triggering an investigation.
Can be changed to Unrestricted.
Unrestricted: Allows victims who desire medical care,
counseling and legal assistance and an official investigation of
the crime. Cannot change to Restricted once reported.

What are the three levels of leadership?

Answer 4

Direct - Direct leadership is face-to-face, first-line leadership.
Organizational - Organizational leaders influence several
hundred to several thousand people. They do this indirectly,
generally through more levels of subordinates than do direct
leaders.
Strategic - Strategic leaders include military and DA civilian
leaders at the major command through DoD levels. Strategic
leaders are responsible for large organizations and influence
hundreds to thousands of people.

What are the three principal ways that leaders can develop others
through which they provide knowledge and feedback?

Situational Question: If your friend confides to you that, they have
been sexually assaulted what can you do for that friend.

Answer 6

They have a choice to keep it restricted or unrestricted report.
You can help them by taking them to the hospital, Chaplain,
SARC or VA. If more than one friend knows, they are required to
report it.

Situational Question: What do you do if someone is cat calling
another person near you?

Stop and intervene. Report them if they are a Soldier or DoD
civilian.
