Strong determinant on individuals views
- believe if we help to deal with climate change then the government will be more involved with more regulation and the economics will decrease

The closer one identifies oneself with one’s beliefs, the more resistant those beliefs are to change, even in the face of evidence
Tribalism
The need to mould one’s views, making them acceptable to the group one belongs to, is the enemy of rationality, individual thought and individual conscience
