- Severe pain
- Pain with eye movement
- Reduced visual acuity
- Tenderness to palpate eye
- Photophobia
- Eye watering
- Abnormal pupil reaction to light
- Violet/blue hue

Bilateral
Acute onset

Initial management of scleritis?
A
SAME DAY REFERRAL TO OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Secondary care management of scleritis?
A
- Consider underlying systemic condition
- NSAIDs (ORAL)
- Steroids (ORAL)
- Immunosuppressants (for underlying systemic conditions)
