  • History of contact lenses or foreign body
  • Painful, red eye
  • Foreign body sensation
  • Blurring vision
  • Photophobia
  • Watering eye

A
  • Fluorescein stain: this collects in abrasions or ulcers

- Slit lamps examination may be used in more significant abrasions

A
  • Simple analgesia
  • Lubricating eye drops
  • AB eye drops
  • Bring patient back in 1 week
  • Cyclopentolate eye drops dilate pupil & improve symptoms (photophobia)
