A
Autoimmune

signs for acute sarcoidosis?
A
- fever
- erythema nodosum
- polyarthralgia
- malaise
- bilateral hilar lymphadenopathy

signs for chronic sarcoidosis?
A
- gradual onset alveolitis
- skin infiltration
- peripheral lymphadenopathy
- hypercalcaemia

symptoms of sarcoidosis?
A
dry cough, progressive dyspnoea, decrease exercise tolerqance and chest pain

A
- blood tests
- 24 hour urine
- CXR
- HRCT
- lung function test
- tissue biopsy

A
peripheral nodular infiltration

A

Treatment for sarcoidosis?
A
- NSAIDS, bed rest for flare ups
- steroids (prednisolone 4-6 weeks)
