irritation and acute or chronic inflammation of nasal mucosa, leading to difficulty breathing (coryza)

A
adenovirus, rhinovirus, respiratory syncital virus

A
allergic (seasonal, perennial, episodic), non allergic and occupational

symptoms of rhinitis
A
rhinorrhoea, sneezing, itching, nasal congestion and obstruction (due to dilated blood vessels)

what is the treatment for rhinitis?
A
glucocortisteroids, anti-histamines, anti-cholinergic drugs, sodium cromoglicate, cysteine leukotriene receptor antagonists , vasoconstriction
