• Pt Positioning - Pt faces away form the bucky
• Immobilisation - comfortable, normal breathing
• Safety - gonad shielding if not obsuring anatomy
• Marker - lateral
• SID - 100
• CR - midline, between greater troch and ASIS
• Tube Tilt - 20 cephalad
• Collimation - less than image plate and include SI joint. S-I less then height and include L5-coccyx
• kV - children 70 and adults 80

• Cassette - 34x30 vertical
• Pt Positioning - facing away from the bucky
• Immobilisation - comfortable and normal breathes
• Safety - gonad shielding
• Marker - lateral
• SID - 100
• CR - midline between pubic symphysis and ASIS
• Tube Tilt - 10 caudad
• Collimation - less than width of image plate and include SI joint. S-I - less then height of plate and include L5-coccyx
• kV - children 70 and adults 80

• Pt Positioning - perpendicular
• Immobilisation - comfortable shallow breathing
• Safety - gonad shielding
• Marker - anterior
• SID - 100
• CR - 5cm anterior to the posterior sacrum at the level of the ASIS
• Tube Tilt - 0
• Collimation - A-P , less then image plate to include sacrum. S-I - less height include L5-coccyx
• kV - children 75 and adults 85
