Difference in management between haemodynamically stable and haemodynamically unstable PE?

A
  • Haemodynamically stable? DOACs eg. Rivaroxaban
  • unstable: Massive PE+ hypotension= then Thrombolyse
  • if recurrent PE’s, despite anticoagulation= Inferior Vena Cava filters
