16 and 18 cause cervical and anal cancers.
6 and 11 cause genital warts.
Dx and management of cervical insufficiency?
Transvaginal ultrasound
Cerclage of the cervical os and bed rest.
May also use weekly injection of 17 alph-hydroxyprogesterone.
Insufficiency is present if cervical length is 25 mm or less before 24 weeks.
Dx and management of infertility in a female?
Hysterosalpingography to evaluate tubal patency
Clomiphene induces ovulation.
Correct endocrine problems to improve fertility.
IVF.
Cervical cancer screening in 21-29 year old.
Pap every 3 years.
21-29 yo with ASC-US
Pap in 1 year
21-29 yo with ASC-H on pap
Colposcopy
Cervical cancer screening for age 30 or older.
HPV and Pap every 5 years.
