A

Knucke test
Fit 2 knuckles( functional)

Procedure: ( Three Knuckle Test)
• Ask patient to open their jaw.
• Ask them to insert as many of their own flexed proximal interphalangeal joints of the non-dominant hand into their mouth.

Positive Sign: (Three Knuckle Test)
• Patient can only get one knuckle or two knuckles between their teeth.

A

Yes…

Non-painful popping and clicking is very common. Typically popping and clicking is not concerning as long as no pain is associated with the symptoms.

A

• Pain: Burning, shooting, grinding or stabbing. Usually relieved by rest

• Radiating to the back, abdomen, groin, perineum and legs

• Clicking of the lower back, hip joints and sacroiliac joints when changing position

• Difficulty in movements like abduction and adduction

• Locomotor difficulty: Walking,Ascending or descending stairs, Rising from a chair, Weight-bearing activities, Standing on one leg, Turning in bed
