arm supp at elbow on pillow or folded blanket
- shoulder flexion 10-20°
- slight abd
- IR
- head of bed elevated about 30°
poss of immob post TSA in sitting
arm in sling resting on pillow, lap or arm rest
poss of immob post TSA in rot cuff repair
abduction splint
management in max prot phase for TSA
sling or splint

AROM of spine and scap, hand, wrist and elbow
shoulder roll
muscle setting except IR
postpone isom until 4-6 wks post

PROM - AAROm
- ER < 30-45°
- pendulum

- AROM at 4 wks

can perform most wait level activities

dynamic resistance - 0-90° shoulder elevation
criteria to progress to min prot phase for TSA
full PROM-AAROM
- 130-140° flexion
- 120° abd
- 60° ER
- 70° IR
- 100° scaption
4/5 rott cuff and deltoid
management in min prot phase for TSA
starts 12-16 wks
end range stretching - gr 3
self mob
PRE - closed chain, resisted
FA - lifting, carrying, pusing and pulling
